Our Biomedical Science & Biotechnology undergraduates, now stepping into their final year, had the privilege of joining a special workshop led by Dr. Dinuka Ariyarathne from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
The session explored trending and impactful topics including:
Host Immune Responses & Pathogenesis in Viral Infections with dengue as a model for understanding immune mechanisms and disease progression, alongside insights into research databases.
Molecular Diagnostics – covering the application and interpretation of PCR, RT-PCR, qPCR, and isothermal assays in both research and clinical settings.
A true blend of cutting-edge science, clinical relevance, and public health integration, preparing our students to become the next generation of biomedical innovators.
