Chamara De Zoysa
Dr. Chamara De Zoysa, the Head of Academics at the Asian Institute of Business & Science, has expertise across diverse areas in his academic and professional career, in the duel areas of Science and Business. He has an illustrious and respected academic and professional background, a platform from which he successfully carries out his responsibilities as the Head of Academics at AIBS. His comprehensive corporate experience and expertise in the arenas of Science, Law and Business is an exceptional advantage to AIBS and the students he mentors.
Dr. De Zoysa completed his early education at St. Sylvester’s College and Dharmaraja College, Kandy. He was the recipient of a full scholarship awarded by the Indian Government to pursue his studies in Clinical Medicine at the University of Delhi. He graduated specializing in Clinical Embryology from the University of Delhi and not surprisingly topped his batch. Thereafter, he ventured into the demanding field of clinical research in the frontiers of Infertility, IVF and pregnancy complications. Dr. De Zoysa holds a Diploma in Clinical Embryology from the University of Delhi (2007)
Dr. Chamara De Zoysa is a highly sought after lecturer with extensive teaching experience both here in Sri Lanka and overseas. He has held senior managerial positions in both the business and medical sectors in national and international conglomerates in Sri Lanka and abroad.
Dr. De Zoysa holds a Master in Law in International Business (LLM), specializing in Finance from the University of Cardiff Metropolitan University, U.K. in 2015 and a Master of Business Administration from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) University of Delhi (2009) specializing in Marketing and Management and he has topped the batch with a 1st Division.
Chamara has been awarded as “Student of the Year” of Delhi University in 2005 and 2008 based on his excellent Academic and the extra-curricular activity performances.
